If this app didnt crash all the time it would be excellent. I have an iPhone 4.

Cant edit a tasting note after saving it... why not? Thats an obvious necessity. Also it crashes all the time. Why launch this app with so many deficiencies?

Its very helpful to me. I can use this app to record a lot of wine tasting information . Then I share tasting notes with my friends via twitter or facebook. Its really cool.

I enjoy wine but I think this app is a little more advanced than I am. I think that this would be good for someone who is more knowledgable about wine.

The first thing I notices when I opened the app is how crisp and clean the interface is. They really take advantage of the retina display. Besides the display I really enjoy the fact that you can share your wine tastings to social networks so your friends can view. This app has every feature youll ever need in a wine app including the Vintage, Type and Varietals. Its all around fantastic. The only thing on this app that needs to be worked on is the tags to describe the wine. If you hold one of the first few tags (Such as Baked) to see the definition the words are cut off by the iPhone status bar. It is an easy fix for the developers and I thought they might want to check it out. This problem is just a minor bug and still cannot keep this app from being 5 stars!

I found WineAlbum to be a very nice resource of information in regards to wine tasting. It has a nice repository of wines that can be distinguished by color, year, and taste. This app lets you record your tastings so that tasting enthusiasts can keep an organized album, allowing them to refer to it at anytime. It is very detailed and can be the initiator for someone who wants to get into wine tasting, but does not know much about it.

This is the perfect app for any wine lover or someone just looking about details for a specific wine. The search option is very thorough and it is easy to find the wine you are looking for. 5 Star App.

This app is great. It does exactly what I want a tasting note app to do. Theres a button to make a new note thats visible on any screen in the app, and writing down the info about the wine is fast. You can enter as much or as little information as you want. The location feature is really cool because it can usually pick the restaurant Im in without me having to do anything. The latest update added a really cool statistics screen. Looking forward to future updates too!

Very useful , with cellar tracker

I want to really enjoy this app, but it crashes each time that I try and import my CellarTracker information.

Great app, I just cant get it to back up. Id love to be able to keep a copy of the database on my IPad too. I always get "a problem occurred, please try later".

Loaded one wine. Not bad. But crashes on any attempt to add another wine.

After a lot of looking this app seemed to be just what I was looking for - an easy, straightforward way to keep track of wines I have tasted and would like to buy again. Attractive design. Simple controls and smart prompting to reduce keystrokes. Near effortless way of capturing photos of bottle labels. Reasonable options for sorting preferences. Personally I dont care about the sharing features to Facebook, Twitter, etc., but others might like those. But a couple of disappointments after a week+ of using the app. 1. There isnt a "local" way to sync the database across devices, e.g., iPad and iPhone, and I dont really want to fool with a third party cloud service to do this. But otherwise Im stuck either with one device or having two versions of data, i.e., my wines not all listed in the same place. 3. Editing is not intuitive once youve saved the basic entry, and the ratings section doesnt allow editing at all (or at least I cant figure out how to do it and Ive tried several times). If youre at a restaurant, for example, who wants to put in all the information right then? You just want to type in the name, take a quick shot of the label, and get back to talking to your companions. Then put in the rest of the notes and ratings later. 2. I cant find a way to delete an entry. Can delete most of the info piece by piece but not the basic entry itself. Not good if you accidentally duplicate a wine. In summary, this is a nice, basic app, that with a little improvement would a real winner.

This wine app is very easy to use.

Easy to use, allows space for personal notes. This is the best wine app Ive found. Hope they make a similar cigar app someday.

Great idea, but keeps crashing. I want my 99 cents back

I wanted an app that would back up my tasting notes after loosing almost 100 notes on Memwine. This app crashes with drop box. When I tried to restore from email it wiped out all my data. This app is useless if you actually want to keep your data.
